Serving The Community

FCCD Inc. is an innovative and compassionate community organization founded by Mr. Charlie Griffin—a long-time leader and contributor dedicated to serving our local neighborhoods. From the beginning, our mission has been simple yet powerful: to feed and uplift the underserved.  What started as a small effort to meet the needs of our downtown community has grown into a lasting commitment to provide food, care, and hope to those who need it most. Through every stage of our growth, one thing has remained unchanged—the need to feed our people—and our determination to meet that need with love and dignity.

For six years, FCCD Inc. has proudly hosted Serving Saturday every week, providing meals to thousands in Duval County. This initiative offers valuable volunteer opportunities for members of the Devine 9 and students fulfilling community service requirements. Serving Saturday has consistently welcomed anyone in need, ensuring that no one goes hungry—all at no cost.

FCCD has also provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarship funding to aspiring HBCU STEM students, furthering its mission to empower and uplift the community through education, opportunity, and service.
